Crybaby! These big heads were so much fun. They are some the oldest floats in the Parade, I think from the fifties. Posted by Hello

Thanksgiving Day

Our friend, Anise, invited us to watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from her office. The building is on 53rd and Broadway, right on the parade path. We watched from the second floor and got some great photos of the floats. The floats are so large they require 30+ people to steer and direct them. The parade was full of clowns on unicycles, rollerblades, odd-wheel bicylces, and on foot. There were marching bands from allover the country, as well as driil teams/flag guard squads. The parade travels from 79th st to Herald Square, where it is filmed by the networks. It was an absolute blast!
